I used to live alone with my parents. My mom was the only one I had when I was a kid, so she always called me "my parent." We went to school every morning, and it was always a bit hard to get dressed because the rain was too bad.
Then I moved to elementary school. It was hard, but I didn't care. They always come with their own snacks. Sometimes they give me some food from my family, like cookies or chips, that day. My mom would put on her raining coat and let me walk home with a big smile.
I remember one day when we were in the garden. The sun was shining, and I saw all of them laughing together. They were so happy to see us outside. After school, they all took off their masks and started walking home. It was funny, but I don't know why. I guess it's because I loved being with such a family.
Now I live in an apartment with my parents. Sometimes I help them pick up things after work or send packages home to make sure they're there. My mom is always there for me. She's always smiling when she sees me, and that makes me happy.
I've been trying hard to protect this bright smile. It's a little bit of happiness in my life, but I hope it stays as bright as it gets. If someone ever wants a smile like mine, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep them happy.
